Welcome New Member Dave Lambros
South Sacramento Rotary welcomed Dave Lambros into membership on Monday, March 30. Retired from law enforcement, Dave has continued officiating college and high school sports, a role he began in 1982, and today officiates high school basketball and PAC-10 football. Recognizing Youth
On successive Mondays, South Sacramento Rotary recognized achieving youth. On March 23, Peng Xiong of Luther Burbank High School (pictured left with JR Springer) was recognized as the Student of the Month. A graduating senior, Peng hopes to one day become a nurse. On March 30, Elika Bernard (pictured right with Toni Newman) received as award as Sacramento City College's Champion. She is headed for William Jessup University and hopes to go into education.
