A Fireworks Booth - A First for South Sac Rotary

South Sac Rotary stepped in to help the Lions with their fireworks booth this year. Members were hoping not only to support the Lions but to raise additional dollars to send back into the community.

Celebrating Gloria's Year

In keeping with Rotarian tradition, South Sacramento Rotarians came together on June 29 to celebrate the end of Gloria Ferry's presidential year. Even with a last-minute change in venue created by the hot weather, the party went smoothly and the transition from Gloria to Frank Cook took place without a hitch!

South Sac Rotary Supports the Community

On Monday, June 1 South Sacramento Rotary distributed dollars to several local organizations which serve the community. Glimpses of the Golf Tournament

After a fun 9-hole golf tournament, South Sac and Ppcket-Greenhaven Rotary Members shared a meal and raffle with players and their guests. The pictures above share some of the fun.

South Sac Celebrates 50th

On May 4th, South Sacramento Rotary members and their guests gathered at the Casa to celebrtate their 50th anniversary. Rick King, past RI President and special guest, addressed the group and began with a song. In the picture, DG Brian Moore (left poses) with President Gloria Ferry and Rick.
